Wag-N-Trails

Tom and I are so very sorry to inform you that the Wag-n-Trails hike portion of our event this Saturday has been canceled at the request of Jeffco. We received a call late last evening where they informed us that even though this is public Jeffco Open Space, the route is considered an "undesignated" trail which "enters a sensitive resource area composed of complex forest and shrub understory that is one of the few remaining habitat for ovenbirds, a Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP) state tracked bird. The nesting season (April-August) is a sensitive time for this species as it is a ground nesting bird and the young are susceptible to trampling and predation until they are mobile". 

All future ticket sales have been closed. We have refunded the full amount of everyones purchased ticket which you should see on your statement within 3-5 business days. 

We aren't going to totally let this ruin our festivities however! We still endeavor to raise funds for the Intermountain Humane Society so for a donation, you can skip the hike and grab some SWAG (includes a craft drink of your choosing) while rocking out to our favorite Oldies Cover Band; Senior Discount playing from 12:00-4:00 Saturday 12/26 on the Tomari's patio. The band have generously agree to donate all band tips to Intermountain Humane Society.

We do apologize for this disappointment but hope to see you Saturday!
